So, you want to make pasta, and the pot is dirty? Boil water in the kettle while you wash the pot so it's already hot and ready to go when the pot is clean!
(And no, I don't want to hear about your awesome, "Clean the pot after using it so it's ready to go next time," system. This is the Crappy Housewife Tip for a reason.)
I am excited to be the first to post a comment to your soon to be famous blog. I also can be a crappy housewife at times! One of my best tips...fill a spray bottle with just a little bit of dishsoap and a lot of water. Let your kid spray your kitchen floor in their underwear (or diaper) while you do the dishes that have been building for way too long. They will likely start sliding around on their butts in pure joy...this scrubs your floor! When you're done with dishes, pop them in the tub with just water...they have enough soap on person to get them clean. After they're dressed, take their towel and go dry off the kitchen floor...trust me, it will be spotless :-)
